1985. -Graduated from Medical College of Lanzhou University (formerly known as Lanzhou Medical College) with a Bachelor抯 Degree in Medicine;
1985. -Worked in in the First Hospital of Lanzhou University;
1997. -Promoted to a consultant physician of Gastroenterology Department;
1998. -an Associate Professor; A supervisorship for Master抯 Degree students in Gastroenterology;
2000. -a senior consultant physician;
2000. -appointed one of the leaders for the Medical; Sciences and Technology for Gansu Province by the Bureau of Public Health of Gansu Province;
2004. -a full Professor;
2005. -Acquired PhD degree from the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical & Physics, Academia of Sciences of China;
2007.07 -the Deputy Director of the Division of Gastroenterology;
2008.05 -the deputy director of Medicine, and the Director for the Teaching and Research Unit of Clinical Medicine, Beijing Shijitan Hospital.

 

As Gastroenterologist in clinic with long term, accumulating rich experience in clinical. Gained extensive experience in making diagnosis and management for patients who suffer from serious gastrointestinal disorders. Having rich experience and strong skills in performing endoscopic diagnosis and management for various gastrointestinal diseases. In particular, Having rich experience in the diagnosis and management of common GI malignancies such as esophageal and gastric cancers. In addition, Having conducted extensive research into the mechanism, early diagnosis and therapy of these two most common GI cancers.

 

Have completed 10 research projects, which have been awarded second and third prizes by the Bureau of Public Health of Gansu Province. 50 peer-reviewed papers have been published in various national and international journals (4 papers published in SCI-referenced journals.). Have been actively involved in training for medical students and advanced trainees. Among the training program are teaching, lecturing, tutorials, Master抯 Degree student training and supervision, as well as clinical training. Have supervised 22 Master抯 degree students; of 13 of them have successfully completed their programs.
